The Original Family Business - NOTS Trucking

Okay so it is the short of it all... there is LOTS of history.. but I will write a separate blog page about that entire business somewhere else, because well we have too much other fun stuff to talk about and re-cap here..

NOTS Logistics Family Trucking

I remember in my grade school days my dad having to leave quite a bit to travel for a week at a time for work. The business was his dad's and moms for the longest time ( my grandparents ), in which my dad, his oldest brother Andy, younger brother Tim, and 2 of his 3 sisters, Jen & Vicki all worked there. Along with spouses as well! My mom worked there her few days a week, my Aunt Karen--Andy's wife, my uncle Kevin--Jen's husband, my aunt Julie--Tim's wife, my uncle Jason--vicki's husband, and my uncle Michael--Sara's husband. Sara was the only one of the 6 kids that did not have a career at NOTS, as she was a teacher. So between the 6 kids and 6 spouses.. a whopping 11 of them all worked in the family trucking company! Plus gma and gpa of course as well. Which is honestly pretty damn crazy to think about when looking back, but we are a super family oriented group, so it makes sense in the end.

NOTS just celebrated 40 years in 2021, as my grandpa bought 1 truck and started the company in 1981, had the kids as their first employees and the rest is history.
